The official handle of the #BringBackOurGirls, the organisation campaigning for the return of 219 Chibok girls kidnapped by Boko Haram on April 2014, is tweeting that 60 parents of the missing girls are being detained in Borno.
According to the handle, the parents have been detained since 7am on Tuesday and the soldiers responsible claim that they are acting on others from above.
The handle also suggests that the parents may have been stopped from joining other campaigners for the group’s planned march to the Presidential Villa, Abuja, on Thursday.
