Tinsel star, Victor Olaotan unconscious after road accident


Nollywood actor, Victor Olaotan is reportedly in a coma following a car crash this morning according to strong social media rumours.

Reports on his well-being are currently sketchy as medical personnel painstakingly battle to save his life at an unnamed hospital. The news has come as a rude shock to his family and fans who are currently praying hard for his survival from his current ordeal.
 
We still awaits a press statement from Mr. Olaotan's family members and close associates as regards the viral report.

Olaotan got into acting in in 1959 at the age of 17. The veteran actor kick started his career on stage when he was chosen to represent his school in the play “Gods Are Not To Blame”.

In 1974 he starred in a soap opera by Laolu Ogunniyi called “Candles In The Wind” alongside Kehinde Craig. He also once worked with NTA Ibadan where he produced Yoruba and English dramas.

In 1981, he joined a group of 8 Nigerian performers who escorted former Nigerian President Shehu Shagari to the United States to have a meeting with Ronald Regan.

He was on MNET’s "Tinsel" series for seven years where he played the role of Fred Ade-Williams.
