Photos: Nairobi’s Street Boys Paraded Naked in Bid to Raise Funds for Circumcision

 Street urchins on Tuesday caused quite the spectacle on major Nairobi roads as they embarked on a mission to raise money for their colleagues to undergo the cut.

The senior street-boys paraded the younger boys atop two carts and crisscrossed the city, asking well-wishers for money to carter for their circumcision and keep up during the healing period.

“We are asking motorists and well-wishers to contribute towards this cause so that we can take our colleagues for the cut. We go round Nairobi major roads looking for the money that is required for it” said one of the street kid as quoted by Nairobi News.

The over 20 street boys voluntarily decided to undergo the cut and were taken round the city while stark naked.
