This is the idyllic spot where boxing legend Muhammad Ali will be laid to rest later today, Daily Mail Online can reveal.
Ali himself personally chose the plot in a tranquil, secluded corner of the historic Cave Hill Cemetery on the outskirts of Louisville, Kentucky.
The Greatest always wished to remain in his beloved hometown, where he learned to box, built a museum and even has a street named in his honor.
And cemetery workers have this week been preparing the burial site for Ali’s arrival.
Cemetery staff have worked hard to make sure the area - which is known for its beauty and wildlife, and is surrounded by centuries-old trees, immaculate lawns and a lake - is ready for The Champ.
And security has been beefed with the cemetery on lockdown in recent days.
A family source told Daily Mail Online: ‘Muhammad wanted to come home when he died and chose Cave Hill Cemetery ten years ago because it’s a beautiful setting.
‘He personally picked out the plot after touring all 300 acres, he fell in love with this site, it’s idyllic.’
The vast cemetery, which has over 130,000 graves, is one America’s most beautiful and historic burial grounds.
Set in 300 acres it was opened in 1848 and rose to national importance years later when it became the site for the burials of Union soldiers who died in service.
In 1979 Cave Hill was listed on the American National Register of Historic Places.
