A dog saved the life of her asthmatic owner by waking her up as she suffered severe attacks in her sleep.
Donna Jeffrey, 31, was nuzzled awake by four-year-old Storm while struggling to breathe twice in one week.
Her husband Adam, 29, bought Donna the German Shepherd before he was deployed to Afghanistan with the RAF in 2012.
Donna said: “He hoped she would keep me safe while I was staying on my own.
"Little did he know that Storm would safe my life, twice.”
On the attacks in 2014, former nurse Donna said: “If Storm hadn’t acted, I’d have slept through the warning signs. I could have died.
